I really love this pattern. I've been knitting for quite awhile but decided to try crochet when I saw these. I'm not quite sure what I did but I somehow managed to make one with 10 petals...it still looks quite nice though! :D

These are so cute to make for gifts for my friends to use on their patio tables. They look like pretty flowers and they seem like they can be made very quickly. Thanks for the pattern.

I Love them, I made ten coasters and i am wondering how can I put them together to make a throw or long doilie. Do you know how to attach them (Directions?) Thanks

Carolann,
Thank you, I'm glad you like these. :) And no, I'm sorry I've never tried to put them together to make anything else, so I don't have any instructions on that.

Hi Carolann I'm a long time crocheter you would need to have a row around each one in the same colour to hide the joining stitches. Lay them out in way you want them, you can have spaces. Then to join them you could join two back to back and do a row of single or slip stitch in the stitches where they need to join then single crochet along to next join and put two together. OR I would just hand stitch them together using the same crochet cotton or wool starting and finishing just where the joins are needed.

Thank you so much for your time and effort to post this video. I am new at crocheting and reading patterns, so this was so helpful to me. I have already made three coasters and feel so proud of myself! Thanks again. Couldn't have done it without you.

Thank you Melanie, I'm so glad you are enjoying the pattern! But I can't take credit for the video. Connie from Easy Video Crochet was kind enough to put that together, and she did a wonderful job! :)

You wouldn't happen to have a pattern for something to crochet for St. Patrick's Day would you? I love the springtime coasters. Never did a front crochet like that before but you made it easy! Thanks.

Absolutely love these coasters! Very easy and simple to make and fast, too. Completed a set of 4 during a Sunday afternoon of football. Thanks for sharing. I plan on giving them as birthday presents to my friends who don't do hand work. They will think I labored for hours.

Doni...I'm making my first coaster--I LOVE them!! However, I have just finished the white section, and I have 11 petals!!! Help....my flower is growing! I believed that I was skipping stitches & slip-stitiching as directed, but obviously, not!! LOL
The video is very helpful--I'll also try watching it again as I work.
